Lord of the Rings enthusiasts will love the Middle Earth Quest Board Game. Set in the seventeen-year period between Bilbo's birthday party and the Ring's departure from the Shire, this game is sure to provide hours of entertainment.

One player takes the role of Sauron, who is attempting to dominate Middle Earth with his evil plans. Three other players take the role of heroes who must hold the darkness at bay until Gandalf's plans can mature.

Middle Earth Quest comes with one rule book, one game board, five plastic hero figures, five plastic minion figures, 10 starting quest cards, five advanced quest cards, 18 plot cards, 15 peril cards, 10 mission cards, nine item cards, 15 stronghold encounter cards, 42 event cards, 26 shadow cards, 16 corruption cards, five hero sheets, 50 monster tokens, 30 favor tokens, eight persona tokens and plastic stands, four victory markers, three plot markers, 24 level tokens, one event marker, 125 hero cards, 20 skill cards, 14 monster reference cards, 75 region encounter cards, 75 monster combat cards, four Sauron action tokens, one current player token, 80 influence tokens and 30 damage tokens.

This game is recommended for ages 13 and up. Two to four players can participate. Each game lasts about three to four hours.
